I love New Inventory Week - taking the time to feature each item ensures each unique piece gets the attention it deserves. I hope you'll check back frequently this week as I update this blog post with new items!
The Kristi Sofa is a brand-new acquisition and also a feature piece in a styled shoot you'll see in a few weeks! The brown linen and floral carved frames make this beauty perfect for many different settings.
The Trudy Loveseat is such a cozy piece and I love the mustard/goldenrod velvet stripe so much! I have several brides focusing on a very natural, boho theme and I think this would be amazing for outdoor bridal portraits - I can just picture it next to wheat fields. The arms are so round it has a different shape than any other piece currently in inventory.
The Huntley Buffet is my second recently acquired buffet and it's amazing how it can be both casual and elegant with just a few minor styling changes. It also has casters, so it's perfect for a rolling cake display that so many of my clients are doing!
The Collins Buffet is honestly one of my favorite pieces right now. It has such a beautiful shape and I can figure out a way to use the gray with everything! I bought this buffet and another one I'll show later tonight from a picker in Decatur - both buffets were in terrible, terrible condition and although I had hoped to keep them their natural wood color, it just wasn't possible.
The Heidi Display Cabinet is such a versatile piece - I'm always on the lookout for new ways to display desserts and favors and I was excited to find this one. It's recently been used to display children's books at a baby shower and I can't wait to show those photos off soon! The shelves are both adjustable and removable, so you could place a tall layered cake inside on a beautiful pedestal cake plate and still have room for a few more things! I an imagine this being used to hold gifts or interesting seating cards, family photos for a memorial display and even late-night reception snacks like popcorn or donuts.
I hadn't originally planned on the Joanna Farm Tables being a part of New Inventory Week - until I realized they weren't on my website! These whitewashed farm tables are a dream and design all of my own - a table that feels a bit more feminine than the typical farm table, and bright enough to lighten any dark venue. I can really envision these as a head table or creative food display or alternated with standard banquet rounds for a creative room layout. I'm so happy with how they look I'm considering a similar table for my house!
I always have brides asking if I have anything purple, and up until now, I haven't been able to quite get what they want. But now - introducing Violet! A great purple chair, perfect to pair with neutrals or jewel tones. The velvet pile looks a bit different depending on how you brush it, so the mottled look of the chair is actually the pile being rubbed in different directions. I've also got a different shade/style of purple chair (more berry purple colored) waiting on my to-be-upholstered pile, so I will hopefully have two different purple options here shortly!
The Layton Jute Rug is such a great basic piece because it is so versatile. When I purchased it, I had envisioned it being used for outdoor lounge areas, but it has also been used for a ceremony floor covering and to layer with other rugs at a dance floor.
The June Chair is one of my favorite recent acquisitions. A lot of original vintage pieces have a more mustardy-yellow fabric, but this soft lemon yellow velvet is just the sweetest! It made it's debut at Brunch with the Bride a few weeks ago and I love how the tiny bright pop of color stood out against the brick walls.
