If you've been following me on Instagram you've seen a few sneaks of what I created for this month! Several years ago I had the great joy of traveling to Ireland for a few weeks. It.Was.Wonderful! Low key trip, but we packed in a ton of activities. We visited so many great places - Giant's Causeway, Dublin, Galway, the Cliffs of Moher - but a surprising highlight was one of the parks we visited. That particular day we didn't have a ton of time to do any sightseeing so we stopped by a natural woodland area, climbed a few trees and took a few photos. To me that park was the epitome of what I imagined a northern Ireland park would be - mossy, rocky, damp, with crazy old trees. In March since we celebrate St. Patrick's Day (when everyone is Irish!), I thought I would share a dessert display that was inspired by my trip to Ireland.
I am a huge fan of creating interesting food displays. Laying food on flat trays all in a row doesn't look as inviting as creating a food display that is also a work of art. I love different metals (gray tin, gold brass, gold frames), I love different wood finishes (painted white & stained brown) - I hope you love this and it inspires you in some way!
